AstaxanthinUpdated 3 years ago

The astaxanthin is a  carotenoid pigment that occurs naturally in many fish species as well as microalgae, yeast, and shrimp. It is the same carotenoid that helps to give pacific salmon its familiar pink coloration, and is what gives Kion Omega its pleasing red coloration.

The astaxanthin in Kion Omega is derived from algae (Haematococcus pluvialisalgae), Kion Omega contains 1.21 mg of astaxanthin per serving.

Astaxanthin is a potent natural antioxidant, coupled with vitamin E, helps us to naturally protect the triglycerides found within Kion Omega.
