 For the purposes of our Aminos Powder, Kion uses a citric acid produced in the standard manner, via microbial fermentation using Aspergillus niger. Our citric acid is derived from non-gmo sources, and is free from any derivatives such as corn. Additionally, our raw materials are subject to microbiological screens, which include screening for yeasts and molds. 

We certainly understand any concern, especially given the popularity of this subject as of late, and by no means wish to dismiss them. As can often be the case, many of the claims surrounding citric acid are either very "liberal" connections and/or have little to no scientific backing, requiring further research.  

 All of that having been said, we appreciate that you only want the best in your products (this we share). Should you still have concern, but still want the benefit of EAA supplementation we offer the same formula without additives in our Aminos Capsules .
